The cat is now out of the that rough has officially announced to the world that I too keep a blog, I would expect the others in my batch to check it out.

In keeping with the good tradition, it is only proper that I return the praises that Rough showers upon me in his blog. Well, I have to say that Rough is arguably one of the brightest among my friends - (macam la aku ada banyak sangat bright friends) - so it is not surprising that he is where is today, career wise.

We did go back a long way indeed. I still remember when we plotted to overthrow Rahimi from the class monitorship and put you there instead. It was good fun. The meetings, the tactics - pergh, we were not even 13, yet we have plotted the end of Rembell's promising political career (mampuih kalau dia baca nie)...aku dah mintak maaf ka kat dia?

In all honesty - Rough,I am not kissing your ass here - part of my decision to blog was due to you when you advised me to write to my son, to express my feelings, etc...

I hope we will still be friends in years to come. The friendship has been good.Thanks...

The Poem

The first time I read this, how I wish one day I will be able to read it to my children. Emil, here's for you. Embrace it, insyaallah, you will be a man...

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!
Rudyard Kipling

Yang, saya nak motor nie...

Seronoknya kalau dapat motor nie...awak tak marah kan?

berapa banyak?

I believe all married couples, at one point or another during their blissfully wedded life, discuss about how many children they would like to have between them.I use the phrase "would like" as the actual number really depends on the will of Allah. Only the act of trying to get them is left to us.

The deejays & ERA listeners discussed the matter yesterday. From the discussion (I did not listen until they wrapped it up) I find that all callers based their decision on having how many children on financial considerations and this bothers me. Is that the ONLY consideration? Ringgit and cents? I mean, must this decision also revolves around $?

Money shoulde be a factor, yes. But it should not be the factor.It is really sad if people based their decision on having so and so amount of children on monetary factor alone. Come on, it should be more than that.

Was he???

The boy caught giving THE FINGER to the photographer. Was he?

the boy..MC-Vaji 2005

Really like the picture...

Bosannnya...'s monday again. after effects of the futsal tourney are still hanging on dearly on both my legs. the stomach is not that well. probably it's the gastrics making its appearance again. work is nothing to shout about. bored to death at the office.

the futsal was good fun. again, it was a case of 'so near but yet so far'. we fell regally at the q-finals levels. did feel a little bit over the top after championing the group. hopes soared & the target was reset amid the laughter. i think it was to be good to be true, us gunning for the championship.

talked to fadhil. all is well again, i suppose. one thing that i can't stand during the self imposed isolation is the urge to kutuk fadhil, the banter, he is a good punching bag.
