Emil gave me a cold shoulder when I drove him to school yesterday. All my questions were returned with under the breath answers - "entah", "tak tau", "tak ingat". Don't know why but quite sure it wasn't caused by me.

I just smiled it off.

In another development, Eiddin asked me to take him to Sunway Lagoon. When I asked why, the answer was, "...sebab nak tengok 'Everyday I'm shuffling'...". Don't know that LMFAO would be in town.

His request was duly received with a smile.

Recently, Allah had also given Aily and I a reason to smile. But that would be a topic for another posting :)

Keep on smiling.

Congrats JoeHarimau and partner on the latest addition to the family. Good to know that your 'thing' still working after 7 long years, hahaha...

Before you ask, let's just say my thing is working just fine last time I checked. You can take my word that  it is working very, very hard (pun intended) lately, if you know what I mean. So far no rezeki yet.

Hopefully the stork that left your place yesterday will make its way to mine some time soon considering how hard I have been working.

The only fear, and this is no small fear, is that the stork will give Seri Putra a miss and heads straight further down south to Seremban 2 to do a Mambo No.5 or to Melaka to add Hang No.4.

News broke out this evening that an innocent girl's life was taken away in the most deplorable manner after she was reported missing early this month. All that was left was her charred body, found in an oil palm plantation. The confirmation came after the DNA of the charred remains matched that of her mother's.

That her disappearance has to come to this very tragic end is indeed very depressing. That there is/are people in this world capable of such cowardly and despicable act makes it very disturbing. What could have driven the beast to do what he did? What could have the girl done to provoke such a dastardly act?

It's unimaginable what the family has to go through at the moment. In fact, I dare not contemplate it at all for it is a very cruel fate indeed. But Allah knows best. For them, I can only offer my prayer and condolences.

Let's all pray that the perpetrator will be caught fast by the long arm of the law and be severely dealt with. This is a crime punishable with death and death is what he/she/they rightly deserves.

Al-Fatihah. Rest well dear child, you are in better place now.

Reminder to self - one cannot be too careful when it comes to safety of the young ones. Be careful of the surroundings and take the necessary precautions.

School's out, and that is one happy face. It will be a week long lay off for Emil and Eiddin.

We don't plan to do anything this time around. We'll just see how it goes. Considering work and all other variables, it is very likely that the boys will just hang loose at home watching all that Astro can offer a whole week long.

But just for starters, all of us went out to watch John Carter at Alamanda last night. Decent movie, kids will love it. The female lead kinda hot but I didn't recognise her. Didn't Google it up yet but she sure looked like a young J-Lo.

Have a good one, y'all!!!

Not easy to be a blogger these days. The pressure!!! One is not spared even if the readership of your blog is comprised of not more than 5 people, 2 to be exact after you take out yourself, your wife and your 9 year old son. Even more unfortunate, the 2 people above are blog-Nazis (you know who you are!!!)

Lately, it has become a game of one-upmanship - I update, when will you? Hahaha...It's highly taxing to your physical being and detrimental to your mental health too...

OK lah, I admit, sometimes I, not unlike many others, need a little nudge or a kick or two up the backside to get things going - but that's only me being human, of the male variant.

Neglect your blog at your own risk. Mpro has a lot to say about this, hahaha
